Heimmediatelywantedtotalkwiththekids,notabouthiswork,butabouttheirs,whichwasamazing.
UsingSkype,Sheldonwasabletoencouragemystudents,providefeedbackonhowthestudentcreationscomparedtothehistoricpanels,andspeakaboutthecuriositythepanelsinstilledinhim.

Onenewlayeristhatanotherschooljustoutsideofourcityhasagreedtoworkthroughthesameprojectatthesametimeasourstudents.

AllofthishasbeenpossiblebecauseSkypemakesitsoeasyfortheotherteacherandmyselftocollaborateandplan,somuchthatitfeelslikeweareinthesamebuilding.
IhavealsousedSkypetointroduceandteachpartsoftheprojecttotheotherschool.
SimilartoSkypeingwithSheldonlastyear,thisyearIhavebecometheexpertthatwalkstheotherstudentsthroughpartsoftheproject.
WehavealsocreatedsomeSkypeaccountsforourstudents,andhaveplannedsomeupcomingcollaborationtimesforourstudentstouseSkypetosharethehistoricalunderstandingtheyarebuilding.
