Thisiswhythecalculatorusuallyreportsmorephysi-calhardwareandmoresoftwarelicensesforMicrosoftHyper-V.
Finally,toreducecosts,thecalculatoralwaysassumestheuserwillchooseareasonable,low-costmethodoflicensingguests.
InapureLinuxorWindowsenvironment,thiswillbethelessexpensiveofthevariousguestlicensingmodels.
Inmixedenvironments,themodeloftenchoosesaconfigu-rationinwhichthephysicalserversaredividedbetweenaLinuxclusterandaWindowscluster,andthelowestcostchoiceisappliedtothatcluster.
