Aspartoftheirrespectiveprogrammes,theILOandOIFmayagreetoformulateandimplementjointcollaborativeactivities,inparticularinthefollowingareas:–thesocialdimensionofglobalization,withintheframeworkofacomprehensivesocialandeconomicdevelopmentstrategyinwhicheconomicandsocialpoliciesaremutuallyreinforcingwiththeaimofcombatingpovertyandbringingaboutbroadlybasedandsustainabledevelopmentbasedonrespectforthefundamentalrightsatwork,promotionofaccesstoemploymentandincome,improvementandexpansionofsocialprotection,andstrengtheningofsocialdialogue;–thepromotionoftheILODeclarationonFundamentalPrinciplesandRightsatWork–namely,freedomofassociationandeffectiverecognitionoftherightofcollectivebargaining,theeliminationofallformsofforcedorcompulsorylabour,theeffectiveabolitionofchildlabour,theeliminationofdiscriminationinemploymentandoccupation–andofitsfollow-up,andthestudy,promotionandapplicationofinternationallabourstandards;–integrationofyoungpeopleatwork,inparticularthroughthedevelopmentofvocationaltrainingandsupporttothecreationandmanagementofsmallandmicro-enterprisesandcooperatives;–promotionofequalopportunitiesformenandwomenintheworldofwork,inparticularthroughvocationaltraining;–strengtheningofthetrainingcapacitiesoftheEcolesnationalesd'administrationandtheregionallabouradministrationcentres,especiallyinAfrica,makinguseinparticularofdistancetrainingtoolsandnewinformationtechnologies;–strengtheningofthecapacityofmanagementtrainingschoolswithaviewtopromotingcooperationbetweenenterprises;–harnessingofnewinformationtechnologies,suchastheInternet,byvocationaltrainingproviders,throughaprogrammetointroducemultipurposecybercentres;–promotionofculturaldiversityandoftheFrenchlanguageinthevariousspheresofactivityoftheILOandOIF.

Thedevelopmentandimplementationofjointactivitiesinareasofcommoninterestshallbethesubjectofspecialarrangementsdefiningthepractical,technicalandfinancialmodalitiesofparticipationofthepartieswhichshallbeclearlydefined.

AnyminorandroutineexpensesarisingfromtheimplementationofthepresentAgreementshallbebornebyeachoftherespectiveorganizations.
Anyotherobligation,activityorexpenditurewhicheitherofthepartiesmightwishtoundertakeunderthepresentAgreementshallbethesubjectofconsultationsbetweentheILOandtheOIFwithaviewtodeterminingtheavailabilityoftheRecordofDecisions282ndSession(November2001)oftheGoverningBody34GB282-ROD-2001-VVV-EN.

ArticleV–Implementingprovisions1.
TheSecretary-GeneraloftheOIFandtheDirector-GeneraloftheILOshallconsultoneanotherasnecessaryonmattersrelatingtothepresentAgreement.
TheymayagreeonadditionaladministrativeprovisionsforthepurposeofimplementingthepresentAgreement.
2.
ThepresentAgreement,havingbeenapprovedinadvancebytheGoverningBodyoftheILOandbythecompetentbodiesoftheOIF,shallenterintoforceonthedateonwhichitissignedbytheauthorizedrepresentativesoftheparties.
3.
ThepresentAgreementshallnotbeamendedexceptbyformalagreementofbothparties.
Anysuchamendmentshallenterintoforcethreemonthsafterthedateonwhichagreementisgiven.
4.
EachofthepartiesmayabrogatethepresentAgreementbygivingpriornoticeinwriting,sixmonthsinadvance,totheotherparty.
DenunciationofthepresentAgreementbyoneofthepartiesshallnotinanywayaffectanyobligationspreviouslyenteredinto.
5.
EachpartyshallapplytheAgreementinaccordancewithitsownrulesandregulationsandinaccordancewithanydecisionsbyitscompetentbodies.
6.
AnydisputeregardingtheinterpretationorapplicationofthepresentAgreementshallbesettledamicablybytheparties.
INWITNESSWHEREOFtherepresentativesoftheOIFandILOhavesignedtwocopiesoftheAgreementinFrench,bothcopiesbeingequallyauthoritative.
