Tousethechartyouwillneedtoknowthelocationofyourmailbox,thelocationofthesharedmailboxandthetypeofaccessyouneed.
Thiswillallowyoutodeterminetheappropriatemethodsyoucanusetoaccessthesharedmailbox.
SHAREDMAILBOXWITHINPROFILE–IfyouareusingaversionofMicrosoftOutlook2010ornewertoaccessyourmailyoucanopenanadditionalmailboxasafolderthatwillbelistedalongwiththerestofthefoldersinyourmailbox.

Afteritissetup,allyouneedtodotocheckthemailinthesharedmailboxistoopenthefolderassociatedwithitwhenyouopenyourOutlookemailclient.

IndividualswithFullAccessrightscanreadanddeleteemail.
Theycanalsocreateanddeletefoldersaswellasaddandremovecalendarevents.
Theycannot"SendAs.
"SENDAS–Thislevelofrightsgivesyoutheabilitytoliterallysendasthesharedmailbox.
Forexample,ifyouhavesendasrightstoamailboxcalledFredFlintstonewiththeaddressflintstone@usf.
eduthenyouwouldbeabletoputinthe"From"fieldofanoutgoingemailtheaddressflintstone@usf.
edu.
ToanyonereceivingtheemailitwouldlookasthoughthemailcamefromFredFlintstone.
Onceyouknowthelocationsofbothyourmailboxandthesharedmailboxyouwillneedtomatchthelocationofyourmailboxlistedingrayontheleftsideofthechartwiththelocationandmethodofaccesslistedacrossthetopofthechart.
Forexample,ifyourmailboxisinanExchange2007environmentandthemailboxbeingsharedwithyouisinanExchange2010environmentsimplyfollowtherowforExchange2007acrossthechartuntilyoureachthecolumnsassociatedwithsharedmailboxesinanExchange2010environment.
