我教高二16、 17班的英语这两个班在单县二中是普通的班级。班里的大多数学生英语基础较差英语成绩很不理想。因而很多学生对英语学习失去了兴趣有的甚至放弃了英语。他们的学习状况主要表现在以下几个方面

1学生英语基础差

在我们这两个班里大多数学生英语考试不及格。一部分学生不认识音标、不能正确地读单词。一半以上的学生不能正确地把汉语句子翻译成英语主要是谓语部分写不完整因为他们不理解句子结构。所以让学生背诵、默写就有了难度。

2学生学习不主动

在我上课之前我通常提前2分钟到达教室。学生拿出课本很慢我给学生重复好几遍翻到哪一页他们才能打开课本。我讲解知识点时只有我说让他们写下来他们才写。我不说他们就不写。在课下我给学生布置作业他们很少有完成的。

3学生容易失去信心

我知道学生基础差所以每次英语早自习我就让学生背作文。平时上课我经常让学生默写句子。学生感觉着他们背诵默写的也不少但是英语成绩没怎么提高。结果很多学生认为花费时间学英语没什么用干脆就不学。

4学生没有恒心

在我的鼓励下一部分学生开始认真学习英语。课堂上认真听课课下按时完成作业。但是他们在做练习的过程中仍有很多题他们做不对。 同时他们的成绩提高的也不明显。另外学习本身就很枯燥又令人疲惫。在这种情况下学生就不坚持学习了。学习贵在坚持。没有坚持就不会成功。

本节课在Fast reading环节设置三个问题Careful reading环节设置四个阶段。在Summarize环节设置语法填空让学生在理解课文的基础上总理文章大意。最后在Dialogue环节组织学生对话让学生利用本节课所学的词汇进行简单交流。

由于学生基础差在整个课堂设计中我设置的问题偏容易大多数学生能找出问题的答案。但是个别题较难学生不能从课本上直接找到答案需要自己的理解和概括。例如在Fast reading的第三个问题中让学生找出各个时期绘画的特点就有一定的难度有的单词学生不会读(像realistic,

perspective, ab stract)。在最后一个环节Dialogue中学生几乎没有选择impressionism这一绘画风格进行讨论。因为学生说他们不会读这个单词。在以后的教学中对于这些难读的长单词我应该多教学生读几遍。

本单元的中心话题是西方绘画艺术简史、 中西方各种艺术形式与风格各时代的著名画家以及他们的作品。 旨在让学生了解绘画艺术及其各个历史发展时期的不同风格培养他们对艺术的兴趣。

1 Warming Up共有四个问题 引导学生讨论本单元出现的东西方绘画艺术。学生通过为教室选张贴画、为家居选装饰画、谈个人对绘画等艺术喜好等活动互相交流对艺术形式的认识。

2 Pre-reading有三个问题引导学生回顾在画廊或书本上见过的绘画作品并让学生回顾所见的西洋绘画和著名的作家。3 Reading主要介绍西方绘画史。文章开头阐述导致艺术发展的因素生活方式和人们的信仰。随后文章介绍了主要的西洋绘画流派。 中世纪的绘画主题主要与宗教有关。直到13世纪意大利画家乔托才开始描绘现实的宗教活动。文艺复兴时期绘画主题从宗教转向人与自然绘画手法更为现实。意大利画家马萨乔采用透视法绘画开创了现实主义绘画的新纪元。 19世纪晚期欧洲的工业化导致了巨大的社会变革也使绘画风格产生了变化。在法国的巴黎出现了印象

派艺术画家他们走出家门捕捉瞬间作用于物体的光和影。印象派绘画一段时间引起了争议但如今被公认为现代艺术的开端。无论是抽象画还是现实画都得益于印象派艺术的启发。

4 Comprehending设置了四个练习让学生从整体上理解本篇文章鼓励学生就自己喜欢的艺术风格进行交流。5 Learning about language词汇部分通过三个练习帮助学生理解并运用课文中的新词汇。

6Using language综合训练听说读写的能力。阅读部分介绍了曼哈顿的主要艺术画廊。听说部分与阅读部分密切相关听力短文讲述三个朋友谈论参观曼哈顿的主要艺术画廊。写的部分要求学生写封信就开办艺术画廊谈谈自己的想法。一Fill in the blanks
