WepresentsomeofthelatestadditionstothesuiteofWebBasedMonitoringservicesfortheCMSexperiment,andexploretheaspectsthataddresstheroughly20-foldincreaseinpeakinstantaneousluminosityoverthecourseof2011.
Web-BasedMonitoringisasuiteofmonitoringtoolsessentialforefficientoperationsoftheCompactMuonSolenoid(CMS)experiment.
InformationisprovidedtotheWBMserversfromtheLargeHadronCollider(LHC)andCMSviaspecializedhardwareusingvariousmessagingsystemsandOracledatabase.
Aggregateddataisconvertedtouser-friendlytablesandplotsofcorrelatedinformation.
NewDevelopmentsinWebBasedMonitoringattheCMSExperimentFillReportFillReportprovidesuserswiththeonlinemonitoringofthecrucialcomponentsoftheongoingLHCfill,aswellasarchivalinformationforallpreviousfills.
Thereportpageofeachfillprovidesplotsofimportantquantities(instantaneousandonlinemeasuredintegratedluminosity,backgroundmeasurements,vacuumpressure,collimatorpositionetc…).
SummaryTableprovidesthenumericalvaluesforthosequantities.
PlotsaregeneratedontheWBMserver,usingC++codewithROOTlibraries,andprovidedtotheuseras.
